At the Tribeca Film festival, the film War Child, a film on the rap-star, former child soldier Emmanuel Jal from Sudan who was sent to fight in Ethiopia and southern Sudan, won the coveted award “The Cadillac Award Audience Choice Winner”. First-time director C. Karim Chrobog states:
