CSR Network: Inside Child Soldier Relief

CSR achieves Non-Profit Status

We are excited to announce that Child Soldier Relief Foundation is now a federally recognized non-profit, tax exempt organization.  We are in the process of applying for grants and initiating some fundraising projects, so please stay tuned.

CSR collaborates with field researcher Katie Rose

CSR is collaborating with Katie Rose, a resident of Maryland, U.S.A. and Master’s student at the University of Dublin, Ireland.  For completion of her thesis in pursuit of a Master of Science in Global Health, Katie was required to travel to a destination of her choice to conduct her own individual research,

rather than perform the more traditional literature review or internship required by most programs.  She chose as her topic area the rehabilitation and reintegration of former child soldiers and child mothers in Northern Uganda.  Read about her work here.

Site now in French and English

Recognizing that many of our readers speak French as their first language, we have teamed up with Translator and legal intern Anneke Victorica, a lawyer from the United States and France to help us in making a French version of our website and key documents.  It is a work in progress, but check out for the “Français” button listing the translated pages and documents.
