Lubanga Trial: Week 14 in Review
On Tuesday, Prof. Catherine Adamsbaum, a pediatric imagery expert invited by the Court to determine the ages of child soldiers in the UPC, testified that x-rays taken of former child soldiers indicate that they were 15 at the time of the x-ray in 2007. This means that when the child soldiers were in the UPC, they were much younger than 15.
A former commander of the UPC testified on Thursday that Lubanga was the head of the UPC.
On Friday, Judge Adrian Fulford requested that a signal light system be installed that would better protect witnesses testifying in closed sessions.
